Madeaux by Richard Smith is a luxurious collection of hand-printed Linens and Silks produced in England. Richard's modern-classic designs work beautifully with their hand-woven ground cloths, and his artesanal techniques allow for custom colourings, with a minumum of just 30 metres, and even unique designs to order.

Richard is a well-respected and much sought-after designer in his industry. Having started selling designs whilst still at school he has created collections for all the major fabric houses, including Osborne & Little, Warner Fabrics, Lee Jofa, and Schumacher. He is also design director for No.9 Thompson, by Jim Thompson.

Prints, wovens, wallpapers and trimmings are included in his repertoire, which ranges from redraws of traditional eighteenth century block-prints to contemporary mixed-media designs using the latest textile technology.
