Dandelion 01
01 MistWHY WE LOVE THIS
Often dismissed as weeds, dandelions are important ecological contributors in the British landscape. When allowed to grow, they are vital to biodiversity in lawns and offer an essential early food source to pollinators and birds. Throughout its lifecycle this humble plant metamorphosises from a bright yellow flower to a seed head that encapsulates the start of summer.
MADEAUX x CHANTAL TURNER
This scaled up print is on a cotton and linen mix and is one of three from our collaboration with recent graduate Chantal Turner, whose entry to the world of textiles follows a career designing clothing for the childrenswear industry. Her charming and magical eye takes inspiration from local nature, offering a fun sense of scale and colour that we are so drawn to at Madeaux. Also available as a wallpaper.
