Why we love this

Walks in the countryside have long been a source of inspiration for Richard Smith, and trees found in local woodlands have become a favourite subject of his to paint. In this pattern, horizontal paths of trees work across this green-toned design to immerse its viewers into the countryside. The painterly effect and strié ground add a texture to the design, creating a gorgeous backdrop for layering or a standout pattern on its own.
